What companies look for from Information Security Recruits


(ISC)2’s conducted an online poll of 600 respondents, about what companies look for from a new information security recruit. The survey reveals that understanding of information security concepts is the single most important criteria, for almost 30 per cent of organisations, when recruiting young talent. 27 per cent consider technical skills to be the key factor.


About 23 per cent of the firms say that they recruit only experienced professionals.


Employers are demanding qualified information systems security authorisation personnel.
